Did I write a week ago, that we had then our last class out of the series with Brené Brown’s Atlas of the heart?
I was wrong!

We share the space, we share the dance, we share the music:
Places we go when we search for connection

While gathering your music tracks, I realized how much this common “music ground” is the perfect background for a common “yearning for belonging”
When we want to be part of something, we want to experience real connection, yet not at the cost of our authenticity or freedom.

True belonging doesn’t require us to change who we are; it requires us to be who we are!

The music we love says something about who we are, or at least who we are at a certain moment. We’ll discover it together: we share space, dance and music in the Saturday morning community.
This Saturday playlist is a mirror of our diversity and multiplicity: Different sounds, colors, tastes, smells, shapes…

In this space we can dare to connect, we can satiate our hunger for belonging and be who we are. And whether we choose to dance with a partner or alone, we will still dance in community, in the same shared and safe space.
