I’ve always been fascinated by The Little Prince.
Its touching simplicity, quiet humour, and that way of saying what truly matters without ever seeming to.
A children’s story, they say — but one that speaks straight to the heart of grown-ups.
With light words, it opens deep spaces.

For this new season, I felt like following its path.
Letting its words be a starting point for our dances.
Sometimes, a single sentence hits us with its quiet truth —
and to me, that’s exactly what The Little Prince does.

So I’m dedicating the first three classes of October to him.
Three invitations to explore movement through the lens of his words.
Gently. With presence. And a touch of wonder.

This is where we start this Saturday.
With a sentence many know by heart — and yet, each time we hear it, it resonates differently.
It invites us to feel rather than see.
To return to the body — not through appearance or shape, but through that living, sensing center within.
The quiet place that knows, even without words.

In dance, we give form to what lives inside us — even when it has no face.
Through breath, gesture, and shared rhythm, the invisible becomes visible.
And as we move, we begin to reconnect with what truly matters: our presence, our sensations, our humanity.
Even what wounds us, or escapes us, can be seen, welcomed, and danced here.

This class invites you to return to your center — the place in you where feeling arises, where choice becomes possible.
Dancing from this center is a way of meeting what moves through us — tenderness or intensity, joy or vulnerability — and letting it take form.

And breath is what carries us through it all.
Breath — the first and the last movement.
With each inhale and exhale, something essential becomes visible.
What moves us, touches us. What touches us, moves us.
This is the dance.
