This is our last course of 2023, and it’s become customary for you to bring your music to this last dances of the term. You’ve chosen the tracks you like, which may have made an imprint on your body and heart at some point in your life. And this Saturday we’re going to share that music. Everyone will be part of the musical landscape.

Music takes us to places that language cannot. It can quickly and directly access emotion, bring a group into a unified field, elevate our spirits, and entice people into partnership. Music can draw us into memories or solitary reflection, activate or settle the nervous system.

I’m looking forward to meeting you on the floor for this last class before the holidays. I look forward to getting to know your music and enjoying the diversity of our musical tastes.
