I hope you’ve started the new year well, in whatever way feels right for you. With the new year comes a new Open Floor series, Bare Bones, devoted to what is essential: our lived body and our embodied physicality.

This first class brings our attention to the pelvis — this central, spacious part of the body that supports, connects, and holds. The pelvis is more than the place where movement begins. It is a living container, shaped to carry weight, relate to gravity, and offer structure. A place where the body finds support, where breath can descend, and where something fundamental organizes itself from the inside out.

Through dance, sensation, and breath, we will explore how movement changes when we trust this deep physical support. When the body feels held from within, movement often becomes simpler and more grounded. Creativity finds a place to land, and emotions can be felt and held without being pushed or explained.

This class is an invitation to return to physical embodiment — to dance our bones, to sense the intelligence of the body, and to let physicality become a source of presence, vitality, and inspiration.

You are welcome, exactly as you are.
