In our daily lives, we often doubt ourselves. We question our actions, our thoughts, our convictions. We feel inadequate, not enough or too much, unsure of ourselves, to the point of denying our own personality. Questions like “What am I worth, what am I capable of, who could possibly appreciate me?” arise, and we feel like disappearing rather than confidently connecting with the world around us. In doing so, not only do we discredit ourselves, we also deprive others of encountering the best in ourselves. We no longer allow us to shine, to sparkle, to share what’s so truly good about ourselves.
In order to reconnect with others with all our qualities, all our potential, all our positive energy, it might be useful to first reconnect with ourselves, to centre and to focus attention to this inside body, to the internal balance point where we can trust our gut feelings, become secure, authentic, fluid and at the same time well anchored, not dependent on what happens outside, where we can shine! From there, we can open, we can connect and stay authentic, stay fluid and stay anchored, radiate and spread our inner light.
When we centre, we don’t do it to isolate ourselves from the world, we do it so that we can better reconnect with the world around us. And sparkle! And shine!
